Courier Insurance
We have access to policies that cover single or fleet courier vehicles covering motorcycles, cars, vans & lorries for the carriage of parcels and packages for hire and reward on a fixed route, multi drop and time critical delivery basis. All ages are covered and all areas of the UK, ex NI.
We can also arrange Goods in Transit Insurance which is designed to meet the legal liability insurance needs of couriers for loss or damage to goods, in accordance with the conditions of contract, carriage or trading specified in the policy schedule.
In addition to the above, we can also provide couriers with cover for public liability, with optional employers liability too, providing peace of mind by giving protection against many of the risks likely to be faced, as well as the flexibility to choose the level and extent of cover to meet individual requirements.

Goods In Transit features
- Damage to goods whilst in the vehicle e.g. Road accident
- Damage to goods whilst being loaded or unloaded from the vehicle e.g. goods dropped whilst loading
- Loss of goods following theft of or from the locked vehicle
- Hijack of the vehicle
- Loss of or damage to the insured’s own ropes, sheets, chains, toggles and packing materials used to secure goods to the courier vehicle
- Theft of goods removed from the vehicle for safekeeping overnight in the insured’s lockfast private dwelling house or lockfast garage
- Loss of or damage to the insured’s employees personal effects whilst in the vehicle to a specified limit
- Costs and expenses necessarily incurred in transferring to any vehicle and/or carrying to original destination or to place of collection the goods following a collision, overturning or impact with any object
Liability Insurance features
- Choice of public liability covers starting from £1 million
- Employers liability cover includes free cover for up to a maximum of 4 clerical staff
- Free cover for temporary additional manual workers, for a total period not exceeding 50 days in any one period for Public Liability, and Employers’ Liability if taken
- 24 hour claims reporting – 7 days a week, 365 days a year
- 24 hour free helpline, providing confidential advice on legal, tax or VAT problems in connection with business
- Courier trade experience discount available
- 15% Introductory discount available at new business where claim free for 3 years
- Up to 4 years no claim discount (20%) at renewal
